Last week, three trains collided in Balasore, Odisha, resulting in over 250 deaths in what can be termed the deadliest Train accidents in the last 20 years.
Two express trains and a stopped goods train were part of the crash, and as per the most recent statistics more than 1000 people have been injured.
While the families and the entire country is yet to come to terms with the incident, there have been multiple tweets regarding the cricketers making huge donation towards the victims. And the said posts have gone viral.
The tweets have claimed MS Dhoni has made Rs 60 Crore donation, Rohit has made Rs 60 Crore donation and Kohli has made Rs 30 Crore donation. All these were made by random twitter handles.
But, is there any truth to it? Unfortunately, there is no confirmation of the three star cricketers making any donation towards the Odisha train accident victims.
Dhoni is currently recuperating after treatment to his knee following a title-winning IPL, while Kohli and Rohit are busy preparing for the World Test Championship (WTC) Final between India and Australia in London.
The three star cricketers donations are not confirmed, but there is one confirmation of a cricketer making a great gesture as former India cricketer Virender Sehwag has offered to take care of the education of children of those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
