In the headliner, Regian Eersel continued his seven-year winning streak after knocking out Dmitry Menshikov in the first round with a jab. The victory was Eersel’s 22nd in a row and saw him retain his ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title, which he holds alongside the ONE lightweight kickboxing crown.

Ushering in that fight was the ground battle between ONE Lightweight Submission Grappling World Champion Kade Ruotolo and highly regarded Tommy Langaker. The fight went the entire 10-minute round, and in the end, Ruotolo was awarded the win for his aggression and catch.

All in all, four athletes each bagged US$50,000 performance bonuses for their display of grit and perseverance in the ring. The aforementioned Eersel, Kwon Won Il, Superbon Singha Mawynn, and Ilya Freymanov each received the extra prize money from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
