Bowling the final over of the Chepauk Super Gillies, Tanwar gave aways just eight runs off the first five balls before the mayhem started. He nailed down a perfect yorker in the final delivery to clean the off-stump and celebrate with his teammates before the umpire adjudged the delivery a no ball.
A low full toss to Sanjay Yadav followed as the batter sent the ball flying over the mid-wicket for a six. But to the surprise of everyone the delivery was declared a no ball once again.
In his third attempt to finish the final ball of the innings, the right-arm fast bowler bowled another very good yorker which was pushed towards long-on by the southpaw for a double. The umpire spread his right hand for the third time in a row to signal another no ball.
The hat-trick of no balls was broken by a wide ball before bowling a legal delivery which went flying over the deep mid-wicket for a flat six.

The 26-run over helped Chepauk Super Gillies finish at 217/5. The total helped them win the match by 52 runs later. However, 18 runs off one delivery remained the talking point of the match. A few baffled fans have demanded for an investigation and demanded Abhishek Tanwar’s accounts be checked.

Abhishek Tanwar bowled two batters in the final over, both turned out to be no-balls. Even the final ball turned out to be a no-ball. He measured his run-up again and still bowled another no-ball. Frantic stuff in #TNPL2023.
