An edge for a four on the fifth ball of the fifth ball of the 46th over took Rahane to 46. On the very next delivery, the 35-year-old handsomely pulled a Pat Cummins delivery over long leg for a six. Later in the 55th over, Rahane ran a double off Camreon Green to become 13th Indian cricketer to complete 5000 Test runs.

Notably, Rahane was dropped from the India team after January 2022 and he is making a comeback after 18 months.
